That quote about Howe writing a letter to Lescaze and saying the design is definitely yours, that needs a source, please. The architect Robert A M Stern wrote an entire book in the 70s about Howe and based on his writings the attribution of the design is definitely a collaboration and probably more to Howe and his intimate relationship with the visionary chairman of PSFS, Mr. Willcox.
